Two electrified railways that climbs up into the decent mountaintop ranges of Snaefell in all of the Isle of Man. I tell ya, it would be astounding to make a _Railway Series_ book to base some nice stories on the events and settings of this exact railway. I wonder if Wilbert Awdry ever got to visit the Manx and Snaefell to see how much promotion he would give for railway enthusiasts, employees, and tourists to come along with their families and friends who are super fascinated with trains, then again I wonder if he ever got to go to the Isle of Man at all when he lived his time here on this very Earth. Another genuine _Railway Series_ book on mountain railways would absolutely credit great premise for its suffices. Same can be said to every other mountain railway in different countries of the world.

The scenery of the British countryside is always beautiful. As a Japanese, I am happy to see Japanese-made trains running through such beautiful scenery, but at the same time I regret that I cannot see Britain's own latest rolling stock. I hope that one day the domestic rail industry in U.K. will show its pride in being the birthplace of railways, and regain the ability to produce its own unique rolling stock again.

At 47.10 I was under the SR71 when in a overly tight turn the engines flamed out and relit with the starter fluid, bang bang bang, I thought it was going to stall and my number is up!

Around 1973. Alan "Fluff" Freeman played a few snippets for the next week show. They were tracks by a group called "Gentlemen". The band line up had a certain Rick Fenn in it who later became a member of 10CC. The three tracks were "Waiting to Die" "No Looking Back" and "Just a Child". Three great tracks that I recorded on a tape cassette the following week and carried it everywhere. It is a terrible recording, but I have it on my phone and PC and listen to it regularly.

I was at this show as I was stationed at UH from May 86'-Aug. 88'.

Its good to see Sir Walter Scott back.....I'd recommend a day's jaunt round Loch Katrine to anyone.......we parked the car at Stronachlachar, took the steamer to the Trossachs pier end, then cycled back around the loch to the car. Nice quiet road, stunning scenery and a fabby wee day oot!

I was so lucky to have had family stationed at Lakenheath and Mildenhall. I remember this show so well. We entered the staff parking area and were transferred into the field trucks and taken over to the crash station. The view from the side of the runway was spectacular. BBQ going, no queue for the toilets and best of all, we got to meet some of the pilots and get up close to the HUGE fire trucks. I was just 11 at the time and will always remember the whole week we spent on the base.

So you can see into the future, can I have next weeks LOTO numbers please😅

Loch Katrine is an amazing place, have cycled around there countless times over the years. So many people don't know of it or visit it, and it's so close to Glasgow too.

I was there at the air show with my brother and saw the accident. Very sad day.
